Job Title: Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team at Contract Scotland. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting out and surveying the site to ensure accurate measurements and layouts.
  • Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy and completeness.
  • Overseeing quality control and health and safety on site, ensuring that all personnel are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Supporting the Site Agent and performing other site engineering duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Site Engineer with a civil engineering contractor.
  • Experience in setting out groundworks for housing projects.
  • Competence in setting out, as this role is primarily focused on this skill.
  • Relevant civil engineering qualification (HND/C or Degree).
  • Valid CSCS card.
