About You

We seek enthusiastic and skilled software developers to enhance our growing team during an exciting phase of development. You should be proactive, collaborative, and ready to support both senior and junior developers as needed.

Comfortable working independently and as part of a broader team, you will possess strong technical expertise and a proven ability to solve problems, with a minimum of three years of experience. Quick learning is essential as you will need to adapt to new technologies and gain a comprehensive understanding of the business domains you will engage with. Excellent communication skills are crucial for interacting with stakeholders at various levels and grasping business requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with local and remote team members to design, code, test, and document software programs according to established standards.
  • Understand our business operations and the tailored software utilized across them, gaining in-depth knowledge of specific areas.
  • Propose suitable software solutions to address user challenges, working with stakeholders to document user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Create and review system specifications and designs, utilizing well-known technologies and identifying appropriate design patterns.
  • Comprehend information security principles and the security measures necessary to mitigate potential threats within our solutions.
  • Assist in resolving software issues and perform infrastructure maintenance tasks following established protocols.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of GxP and data integrity regulations, designing solutions with compliance in mind and producing necessary validation documentation.

Required Experience:

  • Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (preferably C#).
  • Experience in building HTTP APIs.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Experience in developing single-page applications using modern JavaScript frameworks like React.
  • Familiarity with automated unit and integration testing.
  • Understanding of SQL, ORM frameworks, and database design.
  • Experience with Git and GitHub.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an agile environment (scrum).
  • Background in delivering software within regulated settings.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS).
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Knowledge of .Net Core.
  • Understanding of CQRS, Event Sourcing, and message-based architectures.
  • Experience with document databases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity.

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary: £45,000 - £55,000.
  • Annual leave of 25 days plus bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after three years of service).
