Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician to join our team at Octane Recruitment. As a leading Recruitment agency specialising in Automotive, Motor trade, Engineering, OEM and related industries, we are recruiting across the UK for various technical roles.

Job Summary:

We have exciting new opportunities for Mobile Vehicle Technicians / Roadside Technicians. Our client, a leading vehicle breakdown company, provides a first-class service to thousands of customers. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician, you will be working closely with the breakdown team to attend breakdowns, diagnose issues, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend breakdowns to diagnose issues and provide solutions
  • Work on vehicles to get them back on the road or ensure they are safely transported to a workshop
  • Identify problems and advise customers on vehicle issues
  • Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance, including electrical and vehicle diagnostics

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
  • A customer-focused approach
  • A full UK driving licence
