We are seeking an experienced Windows Server Team Manager to join our IT team at Sanderson. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT service delivery and management, with a focus on leading a team of IT specialists to deliver high-quality services to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage a Team of IT Specialists: Ensure effective service delivery to the organization, overseeing technical management of services in line with ITIL best practices to meet service levels and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Technical Management: Manage team schedules, tasks, and dependencies to ensure productivity and quality output, adhering to standards and best practices.
- Service Delivery: Coordinate with products, suppliers, and vendors to deliver effective business services, implementing operational policies, processes, and service delivery.
- Team Performance: Enhance team performance through coaching and development aligned with industry trends, leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Project Management: Lead small projects, ensuring timely and quality deliverables, including managing budgets when necessary.
Requirements:
- IT Service Delivery and Management: Experience and knowledge of IT service delivery and service management, with a focus on Windows Server environments.
- Technical Expertise: Configuration and management of Windows server environments using WSUS, SCCM, or Intune, with a demonstrable working knowledge of ITIL equivalent to Foundation Level.
- Agile Practices: Experience of Agile practices, such as Scrum or Kanban, with a good understanding of Windows availability features such as clustering/always on.
- PowerShell: Experience of PowerShell, with a good understanding of Windows Services such as DNS, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
