We are currently recruiting Aviation Security Officers to work at Heathrow Airport and surrounding areas. This part-time permanent position offers 20 hours of work per week at a competitive rate of £12.00 per hour. Flexible hours are available, working between various shifts. CTC and DBS checks are required for all potential candidates.

Your Role
As an Aviation Security Officer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering great customer service and aviation security to all our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing exceptional customer service to passengers and customers.
  2. Reporting all security incidents and concerns to the security supervisor.
  3. Working positively and effectively with all team members and other airport and airline colleagues.
  4. Complying with training, security regulations, and company policies and procedures.
  5. Working safely at all times and in line with company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  6. Acting professionally, dressing smartly, and being an excellent timekeeper.
  7. Completing any reasonable tasks required by the company or line manager.

You will be an energetic and professional team player who can work to demanding timescales to ensure that flights depart on time. You will be provided with the necessary training and uniform to confidently carry out the role in line with security regulations and company policies and procedures.

Our Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. Hold an unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months.
  2. Be a UK resident for the last 3 years.
  3. Be fluent in spoken and written English.
  4. Have good customer service/communication skills.
  5. Be able to pass the CRC check.
  6. Be able to pass all required training.
  7. Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
  8. Meet the physical requirements of the role, including being able to be on their feet for extended periods and working in outdoor weather environments.
