Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is developing a state-of-the-art cloud platform designed to meet the most stringent mission-critical customer demands, operating on a global scale to deliver a secure, distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment.
Our objective is to equip our clients with top-tier solutions in compute, storage, networking, database, security, and a continually growing array of foundational cloud services. This role will focus on the MultiCloud domain, facilitating the integration of connectivity and features across platforms such as OCI and Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, and cultivate a high-performing engineering team.
- Oversee and manage incremental software delivery and service operations.
- Steer the future architecture and design of systems.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and leadership to establish both long-term and short-term strategic roadmaps.
- Ensure operational excellence within the team through ongoing process enhancements.
- Attract, retain, and develop engineering talent.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in an engineering environment.
- At least 4 years of experience in people management and team leadership.
- 3+ years of experience in the architecture and design of new or existing systems.
- Strong grasp of cloud technologies and distributed architectures.
- Practical experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience collaborating closely with product management teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Adept at navigating uncertainties.
