Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Communications and Public Affairs Manager to join our team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government officials, and industry partners.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance on communication and public affairs matters.
  • Monitor and analyze emerging issues and trends, and develop strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement communication campaigns.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date information on our organization's policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain communication assets, including reports, briefings, and other materials.
  • Provide support and guidance to colleagues on communication and public affairs matters.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in communication and public affairs, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of stakeholder management and communication strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and commercially.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
