KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting elderly individuals to live comfortably at home rather than in a care facility. With the backing of our experienced team and top-notch training, you will be well-prepared to provide the high-quality care that Home Instead is renowned for.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting visits of at least one hour.
- Introducing yourself to all new clients.
- Providing consistent care by visiting the same clients regularly to foster meaningful relationships.
- Offering companionship to ensure clients enjoy regular social interaction.
- Assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Accompanying clients to appointments or on shopping trips.
- Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming to promote health and independence.
QUALIFICATIONS:
No prior experience or specific qualifications are necessary to become a Care Assistant, as comprehensive training will be provided. However, experience in a care environment or working with older adults is advantageous, whether through personal or voluntary roles.
