About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our thriving, independent veterinary practice, Two By Two Veterinary Centre. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide High-Quality Clinical Care: Deliver excellent standards of clinical care to animals, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Client Satisfaction: Deliver new customer satisfaction to build a loyal client base and ensure customer retention.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with clients about cases and treatment, providing clear and concise information.
  • Thorough Approach: Provide a thorough approach to new cases, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Clinical and Surgical Work: Perform clinical and surgical work, including consultations, diagnostic investigations, surgical procedures, and inpatient care.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date clinical records, ensuring accurate and detailed information.
  • Efficient Work Practices: Work in a timely manner, ensuring that your work supports the practice's objective of running efficiently and effectively.
  • Animal Welfare: Promote animal welfare through client education and preventative medicine during consultations.
  • Preventative Healthcare: Sign clients up to the preventative healthcare plan, ensuring their pets receive the best possible care.
Working Hours and Benefits

The working hours will be our standard opening hours of 9:00am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Our clinical team works Sundays 10am-2pm for consults only at a 1 in 3 rota. No Saturdays or on-call requirement. Job share or part-time applicants are welcome to apply.

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £45,000 to £60,000, dependent on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a 29-day holiday package, including bank holidays, a day off on your birthday, and a contributory pension scheme. We also offer VDS Fees Paid, one membership paid, a generous CPD allowance, and a range of other benefits.
