Senior Test Development Engineer

About the Role:
Optos is revolutionizing retinal imaging and seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing robust tests to ensure the reliability, quality, and compliance of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test systems from the ground up, working closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Lead a small team of 3 to carry out all test-related activities, setting an example of excellence and professionalism.
- Develop and implement test procedures to ensure the continued performance, safety, and reliability of our products.
- Liaise with the Quality team to ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 13485, IATF 16949, and other relevant regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Rich test development experience, incorporating a mix of optics, electronics, software, firmware, laser systems, and mechanical elements.
- Strong background in developing software automation tests on Windows and Linux, with extensive hands-on experience in Python.
- Experience in delivering software for medical devices, with practical experience in Power Shell, C#, C++, and.NET.
- Experience in defining and completing integration of electronic, optical, and mechanical systems, as well as test experience and automation of test processes for such systems.
