About the Role
As a Store Manager at Toolstation, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate a team of retail staff to provide a great customer experience
- Ensure the store is well-stocked and merchandised to meet customer needs
- Monitor and control store operations, including stock levels, inventory, and cash handling
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and meet targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members
Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a track record of delivering sales growth and customer satisfaction
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs
- Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and cash handling
