Inventory Management Assistant

Job Summary
Frasers Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our stockroom team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store's inventory management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Management: Receive, inspect, and organize incoming merchandise, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage.
- Inventory Control: Participate in regular stock counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Product Distribution: Transfer stock from the stockroom to the sales floor efficiently, ensuring that products are available for customers.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized stockroom, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Supporting Sales Team: Work collaboratively with the sales team to fulfill stock requests and ensure timely replenishment.
- Replenishment: Monitor and replenish stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring displays are consistently stocked and visually appealing.
- Loss Prevention: Be vigilant in monitoring stock movement to prevent loss, theft, and damage.
Requirements
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous and organized approach, with a keen eye for detail.
- Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and a cooperative attitude, able to work well within a team.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Experience: Previous experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential.
