We are seeking a motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our clients growing team in Cheshire. If you have a passion for monitoring networks and infrastructure and are eager to work in a dynamic environment, this is the perfect role for you.

The role is on a hybrid base, typically 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home. This would be on a alternating rota between yourself and one other engineer. You must have access to your own transport as the company is not near a train station.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on various internal projects including Cyber Security
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect networks and systems.
  • Monitor security systems for potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Implementing frameworks
  • Email security
  • Problem solving to identify and assess risks
  • Investigate network logs for anomalies to identify suspicious behaviour
Requirements:
  • Network protocols - DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
  • Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and encryption.
  • Router and switch configurations and administrative tasks
  • Azure administration
  • Active Directory / Group Policies
  • VLAN's and network segregation
  • Experience with security tools and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
