Job Description

TPF Recruitment is supporting an esteemed accounting firm based in the region, who are seeking a seasoned Accounts Manager to join their experienced team across a diverse accounts portfolio. Our client is a reputable, independent accounting practice.

As a seasoned Accounts Manager, you will work collaboratively with other Managers and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio comprising sole traders, partnerships, and Ltd companies. You will have the autonomy to manage your portfolio as you see fit and will also work closely with an experienced team of Managers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse client portfolio.
  • Prepare statutory accounts.
  • Prepare income and expenditure accounts for clients as required.
  • Oversee bookkeeping and organization of accounting records.
  • Review and prepare and submit VAT returns.
  • Prepare and submit personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients by supporting and answering queries.
  • Work closely with the senior management team, including supporting Partners with projects.
  • Contribute to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.

Requirements

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years of experience within practice. You will have worked as a Team Leader/Client Manager/Manager within a practice environment and have hands-on experience of accounts, management accounts, tax, and VAT.

Benefits

£50,000 - £60,000, based on experience and qualification.
