Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive training from a Head Chef to achieve your culinary certification
  • Engage in daily kitchen operations and learn through hands-on experience
  • Work collaboratively within the team, demonstrating strong communication skills
  • Follow recipe guidelines to prepare, cook, and serve a diverse range of meals
  • Complete necessary documentation for compliance
  • Assist with inventory deliveries and stock assessments
  • Manage food orders and maintain kitchen records
  • Share responsibility with the Chef/Catering Manager for food deliveries
  • Monitor equipment and storage area temperatures
  • Contribute to routine kitchen sanitation and cleanliness
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all menu items
  • Participate in relevant training sessions as required

Qualifications:

  • No previous experience required, just a strong willingness to learn and a passion for cooking
  • Excellent team player with strong communication abilities
  • Committed to the apprenticeship program
  • DBS check is a requirement
  • Flexibility and creativity are essential
