Are you seeking a flexible part-time opportunity to enhance your earnings? We are currently in search of dedicated team members to assist in the placement of Point of Sale (POS) materials and in-store advertising. If you have the ability to commit to working every Thursday for an average of 3.5 hours per week and possess prior experience in merchandising or POS placement, we would love to hear from you. The compensation for this role is £13.56 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay.
Location: Southampton, United Kingdom
Role Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be responsible for strategically placing POS materials throughout the store to support various brands. It is crucial to ensure complete coverage of all designated areas, and you will be required to document your work through an online application.
Typical Duties Include:
- Signing in at the store and introducing yourself to key personnel.
- Collaborating with store staff to locate the POS materials that have been delivered.
- Setting up promotional displays, including bollard covers and gondola end units, in pre-arranged sections of the store. This may involve using a stepladder to reach higher placements.
Key Qualifications:
- Availability to visit the assigned store every Thursday.
- Flexibility to complete tasks between 6 AM and 4 PM on Thursdays, with varying hours each week.
- Ownership of a smartphone (Android or Apple) for reporting purposes.
- Comfortable using a stepladder for higher placements.
- Proficient in navigating and utilizing app-based systems.
- Willingness to work in-store, which may involve moving heavier boxes of POS materials.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Prior experience with POS systems is essential.
