AV Project Engineer Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced AV Project Engineer to join their team. As an AV Project Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with clients, architects, and internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop detailed engineering plans for AV integration projects using AutoCAD and other relevant tools.
  2. Ensure that project designs adhere to industry standards, client specifications, and budget constraints.
  3. Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of hardware components to ensure compatibility and reliability.
  4. Provide technical guidance to the installation team throughout project implementation.
  5. Work closely with project managers and installation teams to address technical challenges and maintain quality standards.
  6. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  7. Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including engineering drawings, technical specifications, and progress reports.
  8. Communicate project status updates and key information to internal stakeholders and clients.

Requirements: AV experience is essential for this role. You will be proficient in AutoCAD and AV hardware, and have experience of directly dealing with clients.

This is a hybrid role, so would suit someone looking for flexibility in their working week.
