- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide immediate support during challenging situations, helping students navigate difficult emotions.
- Maintain open communication with parents, providing updates on students' progress and collaborating on strategies for continued support at home.
- Support teachers and fellow teaching assistants in classrooms.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
- Experience working with children in a mental health or educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassion and empathy for the well-being of children.
- Experience working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
