Hardware Development Engineer - Power Feeding Equipment (PFE)

We are seeking a talented Hardware Development Engineer to play a key role in the development, qualification, and documentation of hardware for our Power Feeding Equipment (PFE) product. The PFE is crucial in providing power to undersea cable systems with high voltage requirements, demanding a reliable and long-lasting solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Design analog and digital circuits
  • Implement A/D and D/A techniques
  • Develop closed-loop control systems
  • Utilize FPGA and CPLD implementation
  • Design interfaces
  • Power Electronics experience is advantageous

Tools:

  • Simulation (PSpice)
  • Schematic capture and PCB layout
  • Digital tool chains / vendor IDEs
  • MS Office tools

As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, testing, and validation of products against specified requirements. You will generate requirement specifications, schematics, and test reports as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Electrical / Electronics Engineering Degree
  • Minimum years' experience in relevant R&D
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles
  • Strong communication skills
