Job Purpose:

As an Exam Invigilation Specialist at Teacheroo, you will work as part of a team to ensure the smooth execution of examinations. Under the supervision of the Chief Invigilator and Examinations Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating the examination process, adhering to SQA and JCQ regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement exam procedures and processes as directed by the Chief Invigilator.
  • Ensure SQA and JCQ regulations are observed and maintained throughout the examination.
  • Carry out invigilation duties in various venues, including the distribution of exam materials and assisting students entering exam venues.
  • Actively monitor and patrol exam venues to maintain a secure and orderly environment.
  • Deal effectively with issues arising during examinations, including student conduct and exam documentation.
  • Escort students from venues during exams as required, ensuring they are supervised while outside the exam room.
  • Identify and address suspected breaches of regulations, confiscate prohibited material, and complete incident reports accurately.
  • Collect and tally examination material at the end of each exam, ensuring paperwork is prepared for collection.
  • Manage the departure of students from venues after exams, ensuring they leave in an orderly and quiet manner.
  • Maintain the integrity of all exam documentation.
