Senior Technician Role at Trinity House

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our team at Trinity House. As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the lighthouse estate, ensuring that all aspects of civil maintenance are carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contractor assessment and supervision
  • Survey completion and estimate preparation
  • Contract specifications and management
  • Knowledge of building and planning regulations for modern and listed buildings
  • Experience in contract management and strong supervisory skills
  • Thorough understanding of HSE and CDM requirements

You will have the opportunity to work in offshore lighthouses, collaborating with helicopters and boats in a physically demanding environment. A relevant technical qualification at BTEC Level 4 or equivalent experience is necessary, along with proficiency in IT.

As a Senior Technician, you will be based in Swansea, but will require a large amount of UK travel and periods away from home and the depot. This includes staying as part of a small team on offshore lighthouses.
