Job Description

EdEx is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Support Specialist to join our team in a Primary School in Croydon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to children with complex SEN/SEMH needs in and out of the classroom.
  • Assist teachers in developing and implementing personalized learning plans.
  • Collaborate with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and support staff to ensure a comprehensive support system.
  • Report feedback and progress to class teachers and SENCO.
Requirements:
  • Graduate with a strong academic background, preferably in a field related to education or social work.
  • Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SpLD.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN legislation and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
