Chassis and Bodywork Engineer

Williams Racing is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Chassis, Bodywork & Wings Department as an Industrial Placement post-holder. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of projects assigned, working closely with Principal / Senior Engineers and the Head of Department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of engineering designs, drawings, and laminates in accordance with defined standards and procedures.
- Contribute to Research and Development projects within the department.
- Liaise with other engineers and support the wider organisation, including Manufacturing, Quality, Prototype, and Trackside teams.
- Proactively address faults, manufacturing queries, and feedback, as well as other related departmental tasks.
- Play an active role in the Vehicle Design Vision, Goals, and Strategy to create a best-in-industry high-performance design team.
- Technical skills, including CAD understanding and experience with NX software.
- Basic understanding of composites design, including material and manufacturing processes.
- Effective problem-solving ability and strong communication skills.
- Positive and proactive attitude to work, with good attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
