As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of GaN devices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and simulation of power devices, leveraging your expertise in GaN technology and semiconductor devices.
  • Develop and own GaN device designs and layouts, utilizing layout tools and/or GaN device concepts using TCAD tools.
  • Drive benchmarking and understanding of competitor technologies, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Collaborate closely with product, reliability, and application engineers to develop GaN technology solutions that meet customer requirements and drive business growth.
  • Consider all product aspects from design-to-manufacturing to effective cost structure, ensuring efficient and scalable production processes.

Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent in Experimental Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of power semiconductor devices, ideally wide band gap GaN HEMTs.
  • Proven experience in design of power semiconductor devices, ideally wide band gap GaN HEMTs.
  • Proficiency in layout tools (e.g., Cadence, Klayout) or TCAD tools (Synopsys Sentaurus preferred).
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Team player with strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
