About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Production Manager to join our team at Galaxy Personnel. As a CNC Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards, and managing a team of CNC operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read technical drawings and set up machines in accordance with specifications
  • Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines
  • Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
  • Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
  • Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise
  • Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening
  • Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs
  • Hands-on duties as and when required working on HAAS controls and/or turning practices

Requirements:

  • Time-served toolmaker or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machines and programming
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
