Electrical Design Engineer

Job Purpose:
As an Electrical Design Engineer with Correct Contract Services Limited, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, and maintenance of all electrical systems. This role involves wiring and fault finding of central heating control systems, as well as fault finding, repairing, and replacing door entry and warden call systems.

Duties:
Key responsibilities include:

  1. Repairing and minor works as required for installation call backs or remedial works.
  2. Breakdown attendance and response to urgent calls, part of a call out rota.
  3. Clearing each job from the hand-held device and back office system upon completion.
  4. Liaising with all other engineers and staff to ensure targets are reached, organizing plumbing and building works on installations.

Requirements:
Desirable qualifications include a Gold ECS NVQ level 3 card 2391 or 2395 & 2394 in testing and inspection. Experience of working within the Social Housing market on installation projects and maintenance contracts, including direct experience with residents and clients, is advantageous. A clean UK driving license and DBS check will be necessary.
