About the Role
Eden Scott is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their team in a bespoke consultancy environment.
The successful candidate will be provided with a broad exposure to financial planning matters, working closely with the existing Paraplanners to support their Advisers in looking after a portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Compiling suitability reports detailing the recommended advice to suit the client's needs
- Using various providers' systems for carrying out specific client actions, including rebalancing, fund switches, withdrawals, amendments to income, and submitting new business
- Completing Fund, Model, DFM, and Platform research and analysis
- Carrying out product analysis and comparisons
- Instructing the IFA Administrator to proceed with preparation of the pack for the client
- Providing technical support to advisers and administrators regarding complex planning matters
- Implementing recommendations
- Preparing reports for client review meetings
- Updating client information and relevant spreadsheets
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- General administration
About the Person
You will have demonstrable knowledge and experience of Paraplanning, including knowledge of appropriate back-office systems. You will be organised, analytical, able to follow direction, and demonstrate attention to detail. Integrity, intuition, flexibility, and the ability to work as a member of a team are also essential qualities.
Our preferred starting level of qualification for this role is the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. A competitive salary and annual bonus are on offer, together with hybrid working as an option.
