Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Digital FPGA Engineer to join our team at Octagon Group in Cambridge, UK.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a leading Machine Learning / AI technology business, developing innovative financial industry technology.

As a Digital FPGA Engineer, you will design, develop, and test FPGAs using SystemVerilog, working closely with software and machine learning experts to build low-latency / high-throughput applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop FPGAs using SystemVerilog.
  • Collaborate with software and machine learning experts to build low-latency / high-throughput applications.
  • Develop and test FPGA designs.
  • Work with Quartus and/or Vivado.
  • Contribute to the development of low-latency, machine learning, or neural network architectures.

Requirements:

  • Experience in FPGA design, development, and testing.
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog, VHDL, and/or Verilog.
  • Knowledge of Quartus and/or Vivado.
  • Understanding of low-latency, machine learning, or neural network architectures.
  • Software skills using C / C++ or Python.
