About the Role

The Senior SAP Solution Architect will play a key role in designing and implementing SAP-based solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This is a senior-level position within the ERP Solutions Practice, responsible for ensuring that solutions align with contracted technical specifications and the company's IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers, sales, business development, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into SAP-based solutions.
  • Develop and propose solution architectures that deliver customer requirements, including:
    • Compiling statements of work to support sales and deal review processes.
    • Leading and coordinating integrated workshops with stakeholders.
    • Delivering roadmap sessions to customers, ensuring they understand the journey to leveraging value from their SAP solution platform.
    • Identifying technologies to employ and architecting solution strategies that deliver customer outcomes.
  • Provide thought leadership and participate in industry forums, conduct roadshows, seminars, and blog about SAP technology and solutions to promote NTT DATA Business Solutions' expertise.
  • Act as the design authority on projects where expertise is a significant element of the overall solution and generate consulting revenue from such activities.
  • Be a primary problem solver, focusing on reviewing and defining architectures, working across multiple complex customer projects, and providing quality assurance across a range of projects.
  • Adhere to the agreed NTT DATA Business Solutions strategy, engage in self-directed and other learning to keep pace with new technologies and developments, and share expert knowledge to develop others and make business processes more effective.
Requirements
  • Proven and demonstrable technical and solution expertise and experience across multiple relevant SAP software products, including SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain modules (On-prem and Cloud).
  • Experience with SCM products such as EWM or TM is highly desirable, as is familiarity with SAP Cloud solutions like Ariba, IBP, SuccessFactors, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Proven and demonstrable track record of successfully delivering customer projects and providing solutions for the resolution of complex architecture projects.
  • Experience of strongly contributing to the delivery of a Target Operating Model for definition of future supply chain models aligned to customer needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and soft skills, able to quickly develop relationships with all stakeholders, including NTT DATA Business Solutions teams, external customers, suppliers, and partners.
Personal Profile/Experience
  • The successful candidate will have at least 15 years' industry experience overall and a minimum of 6 years of professional experience working within an SAP consulting environment.
  • Proven and demonstrable experience in solution design and architecture with successful delivery and experience of all elements of at least 8 full project lifecycles.
  • Minimum of 3 successful, full lifecycle projects as solution architect with a wide scope of software integration solutions, including large enterprise or multi-country global project deployment/roll-out programmes.
