About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Turbomachinery and Heat Exchanger Analysis team within the Mechanical Systems and Components (MS&C) directorate at Experis UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thermal and stress analysis on turbomachinery, gas turbine engines, motors, and other similar components and systems.
  • Develop and apply working knowledge of ANSYS or similar finite element software and classical hand calculation methods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and analyze Environmental Control System (ECS) turbomachinery and heat exchangers.
  • Contribute to the development of electric traction drive motors.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in performing thermal and stress analysis on turbomachinery, gas turbine engines, motors, and other similar components and systems.
  • Working knowledge of ANSYS or similar finite element software and classical hand calculation methods.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering design and stress analysis principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
