The primary responsibility of the Mechanical and Electrical Services Manager is to oversee all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) assets, infrastructure, and service management within the West Mercia Police and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Estates. This role involves coordinating and leading the M&E team and supply chain to ensure that facilities are compliant and fully operational.

This position serves as a technical resource for the regional Facilities Management (FM) team, which in turn will assist in verifying that planned maintenance and necessary corrective actions through the Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system are executed to the required standards, ensuring adherence to statutory regulations, business priorities, and industry best practices.

As the guardian of standards for all building assets, infrastructure, and M&E equipment across the portfolio, this role adopts a strategic approach to both planned and reactive tasks to uphold these standards.
