Job Title: Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at a secondary school in the Croydon area.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of lessons in the absence of the class teacher. You will need to have excellent communication skills, good classroom management, and the ability to cover a variety of subjects.

You will work closely with the school's teaching staff to deliver high-quality lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver lessons as set by class teachers, following the National Curriculum
  • Manage classroom behavior and minimize disruption
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff
  • Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Over 6 months' experience in an educational environment
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • The ability to cover a variety of subjects
  • A good knowledge of the National Curriculum
