Job Title: Commercial Accountant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Accountant to join our team at Frasers Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial responsibilities of all departments for which you have ownership. This includes owning all overhead costs for specific departments, producing department reporting, building relationships with commercial departments, and presenting monthly finance reports to direct line managers and senior finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owning all overhead costs for specific departments, including calculation and input into the finance system of monthly prepayments and accruals
- Producing department reporting to help with financial planning, including review and investigation of any variances between the actual results and budgeted/forecasted
- Building relationships with relevant commercial departments and acting as a business partner for financial/numerical queries
- Calculation and ownership of figures to be included in quarterly budgets and forecasts for specific departments/cost lines
- Ownership/presentation of monthly finance reports to direct line manager, and senior finance as required
- Opportunity to be responsible for the financials of an entity within the Frasers Group, including ownership of management accounts, balance sheet review, and statutory audit
- Supporting group & statutory audits for relevant areas
- Assisting with the integration of new subsidiaries
Requirements:
- Qualified ACCA/CIMA with 2 year's experience working in a similar role within finance
- Confident using MS Excel to interpret complex data and draw business conclusions
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to challenge
- Ambitious and looking to grow a career with a global commercial business
