Milk Tanker Driver

Gregory Distribution is seeking a skilled and experienced Milk Tanker Driver to join our team. As a Milk Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for collecting milk from farms in the local area and delivering it to the dairy.
Key Responsibilities- Collect milk from farms and deliver it to the dairy in a timely and efficient manner.
- Operate a Class 1 Milk Tanker and ensure that all deliveries and collections are made in accordance with our client's requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers and transport team.
- Ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and that all safety procedures are followed.
- Participate in regular training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
- Must have a UK HGV Class 1 CE or Class 2 C Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of Fridge trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
- Basic Salary of £40,218.44pa, working 10 hours per shift.
- Hours of work are: 17:00hrs – 03:00hrs.
