This position offers the flexibility to work from various locations across the UK in a hybrid model, engaging in projects both domestically and potentially in Australia and New Zealand.
This is a distinctive chance to acquire valuable experience in a dynamic environment. Additionally, it provides the opportunity for international travel, working on stimulating projects while collaborating with diverse clients and colleagues.
This role focuses on Water projects, making prior experience in the Water Sector essential, with additional value placed on expertise in Wastewater.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project delivery and may serve as the discipline lead within a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain effective client relationships, ensuring project outcomes align with client expectations.
- Guarantee the technical accuracy of all deliverables, adhering to agreed timelines and budgets.
- Execute project tasks, which may encompass calculations, drawings, sketches, and reports.
- Provide technical mentorship and support to team members, fostering their professional development.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from various disciplines.
- Proficiency in designing with common construction materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
- Experience in a 3D design environment is crucial, with familiarity with BIM protocols being advantageous.
- Application of fundamental Engineering principles.
- Development of design solutions.
- Proficiency in Computer Aided Design and Modelling tools, including Tekla.
Qualifications:
- An Honours degree in Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Chartered Structural Engineer status or nearing Chartership (IStructE).
