We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bank Porter to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Bank Porter, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and efficient environment for our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and manage clinical waste areas for disposal and removal of waste from buildings.
- Deliver and retrieve linen for the units, receive and deliver oxygen canisters, and change oxygen canisters as needed.
- Drive service users to external appointments and provide general support to clinical and operational teams.
- Receive, organize, and deliver bi-weekly enteral feed delivery for service users, receive pharmacy deliveries, and ensure delivery of items to the correct unit.
- Collect and deliver samples to local trusts and provide general support to the clinical teams and operational teams.
- Prior experience in portering or maintenance within a similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities effectively.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
- Hourly rate of £13.50 (including 12.07% holiday allowance uplift).
