Companionship Services
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to provide professional companionship services to our clients in Luton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer companionship and conversation to our clients
- Monitor diet and eating habits
- Provide medication reminders
- Stimulate and encourage clients through various activities
- Arrange appointments, activities, and outings
- Organise mail and write letters
- Assist with walking and provide support
- Accompany clients to appointments and social events
Home Help Services
In addition to companionship services, our Care Worker will also provide home help services, including:
- Running errands and collecting prescriptions
- Providing light housekeeping and completing laundry
- Making beds and changing linen
- Organising and tidying cupboards
- Planning, preparing, and tidying away meals
- Answering the door
- Assisting with pet care
- Helping with shopping
Personal Care Services
Our Care Worker will also provide personal care services, including:
- Helping with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with continence care
- Helping clients to eat and drink
- Providing dementia and Alzheimer's care
- Providing respite and convalescence care
Qualifications and Training
No formal qualification is required to become a Care Worker with Home Instead. We will provide professional training in our branch in Luton.
We are looking for individuals with good communication skills and empathy towards our clients. We will support and help you to become a skilled Care Professional.
Additional Information
All our online and in-house training will be paid.
