Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in delivering lessons and caring for the children
  • Possess essential safeguarding experience and knowledge
  • Create engaging activities for the children in your care
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and its practical application
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Show commitment to providing high-quality education and support for children's growth and development
  • Approach teaching and learning with enthusiasm, creativity, and innovation
  • Be adaptable to provide support to a diverse range of children across various nursery rooms.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with children
  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity and patience
  • Previous childcare experience
  • CACHE Level 2/3 qualification
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role)
