About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to develop their skills and expertise in Private Client law, working with a dynamic and growing legal firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Work: Manage a caseload of wills, lasting powers of attorney, and inheritance tax planning files, providing expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Probate Matters: Work on probate cases, submitting IHT paperwork to HMRC and the Probate Registry, ensuring timely and efficient progression of client work.
  • Business Development: Contribute to the growth and development of the Private Client team, identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Team Support: Assist paralegals and secretaries with queries, providing support and guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Newly Qualified Solicitor with a solid grounding in Private Client law.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to draft documentation accurately and work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Private Client law, with a focus on wills, probate, and inheritance tax planning.
