Legal Counsel for Commercial Transactions

A leading technology company with a global presence is seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team based in London. The successful candidate will provide support on a variety of matters, including drafting, negotiating, and advising on product and services agreements, technology solutions procurement, and public sector contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in commercial contracting for the business, providing practical, business-minded advice to business leaders.
  • Coordinate closely with Legal Counsel and Senior Corporate Counsel to negotiate global agreements with customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Provide legal counsel on diverse regulatory and compliance matters, including those impacting sales to government entities.
  • Keep up to date with legal and regulatory developments affecting the business and provide training and advice to management and colleagues.
  • Proactively identify legal trends within the business and initiate practical solutions.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor with 4-6 years PQE.
  • Commercial transactional legal experience required, ideally within a technology environment.
  • Experience in drafting, negotiating, and advising on TUPE clauses and risk positions would be advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments, and produce high-quality work in a timely manner.

Please note that due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm, or a high-profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
