Tax Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team in Solihull. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a significant portfolio of personal tax clients, monitoring the commercial aspects of portfolio management, and preparing personal self-assessment tax returns.
About the Role:- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax returns and compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Prepare and review personal self-assessment tax returns, including R40 tax repayment claims, PAYE settlement agreements, and PAYE tax code reviews.
- Manage P11D benefits and expenses, as well as handle HMRC disclosures and trust and estate tax.
- Deliver CGT UK property disposal returns and complex CGT issues relating to M&A and foreign matters.
- Maintain CCH software and mentor junior staff, reviewing work and providing training as needed.
- Monitor team performance, identifying knowledge gaps and providing training as required.
- Work directly with Directors and Partners to ensure deadlines and fee recovery targets are met.
- Build trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem-solving.
- Stay up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team.
