Job Title: Academic Research Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Research Officer to join our team at the Laudato Si' Research Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing integral agroecological understanding and practices, fostering eco-spirituality, and supporting the higher education and business sectors in understanding and applying agroecological techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct scholarly research in integral agroecology and its applications
  • Engage with policy and higher education networks around the world
  • Develop and implement projects to scale-up agroecological practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate research into impactful policies and practices
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or PhD in agriculture, agronomy, natural sciences, international development, environmental ethics, or a related field
  • Proven leadership and initiative, with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and research skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
