We are seeking a part-time Commissioning Editor to work across our business list, acquiring books for professional, MBA, and Executive Education audiences.

As Commissioning Editor, you will commission, develop, and build external relationships within the business sector, working with internal stakeholders to achieve this goal.

The ideal candidate will have strong editorial experience in the business publishing market, with a track record in commissioning content, author management, and contract negotiation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Commissioning and acquiring books for the business list
  • Developing and maintaining external relationships within the business sector
  • Working with internal stakeholders to achieve list goals
  • Managing authors and contracts

We offer a competitive salary and benefits, alongside hybrid working with a requirement for one day per week in our Central London office.
