About the Role

Ailsa Lodge Care Home is seeking a highly skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the care team
  • Participate in care planning and implementation
  • Contribute to a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors

Requirements:

  • SVQ 3 in Care or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in a care setting, preferably in a senior role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and service

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate: £12.50 - £13.00
  • Nightshifts available
  • 36 hours per week, contracted
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave
