About the Role

As a Senior Assurance Officer at Cavendish Nuclear, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our business assurance management processes. You will lead the planning and delivery of independent assurance activities, including audits, topic reviews, and studies, and support the Head of Assurance in establishing and maintaining the strategic approach to Assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Assurance in maintaining the Assurance Process, Assurance Programme, and related Business Management System arrangements.
  • Identify non-conformities, opportunities for improvement, and positive findings, and support the business in addressing such findings.
  • Support external Assurance activities, such as Certification Body, Regulatory, and customer Audits.
  • Provide coaching and support on Assurance-related matters at all levels across the business.
  • Support other business-critical Assurance and Governance-related activities, such as Business Continuity activities.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in business assurance management, including strong knowledge of project governance, project lifecycle, business reporting, or Health, Safety, Environment, and quality.
  • Experience working with senior leadership teams, with the ability to present and influence.
  • Relevant and recent industry experience.
