The Credit Controller position is a key role within our client's finance team, requiring a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the sales ledger and overseeing debt recovery within the retail sector.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Oversee debt recovery procedures, working closely with customers to resolve outstanding payments.
- Liaise with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and present reports on account status, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless financial operations and effective credit control.
- A solid understanding of credit control procedures and financial regulations.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work well within a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify areas for improvement.
