CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to contribute to the modernization of People Directorate services by developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy.

As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we collect, manage, and utilize data to drive informed decision-making and enhance service delivery. Your expertise in data visualization, business intelligence (BI), and data management will be instrumental in unlocking the value hidden within our vast datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and articulate a clear vision for data integration, encompassing all sources of information relevant to People Directorate functions.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions for data management and reporting, ensuring they are user-friendly, interactive, and resilient.
  • Provide mentorship and training to staff members, empowering them to effectively utilize data systems and extract valuable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote best practices in data management and digitalization initiatives.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly within the realm of data management or digital products.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify effective solutions for service and business challenges, including the organization of complex datasets.
  • Expertise in collating, analyzing, interpreting, and graphically presenting data, coupled with the ability to develop innovative data management systems and products.
  • Strong training and coaching skills to effectively guide staff members in utilizing data systems.
  • Experience working with data, establishing performance systems, and utilizing tools for collating and presenting statistical information.
  • A customer-focused approach and experience within health or Adult Services sectors (either employed or as a volunteer).
  • Familiarity with writing policies and procedures and supporting data gathering and presentation for formal assessments or reviews of services.

Qualifications:

  • A degree-level qualification in Data Science or a related field, focusing on data management and innovation.
  • Knowledge of data management and quality assurance processes.
  • Understanding of legislation and policy pertaining to systems and data management.
  • Familiarity with Adult Services.
