We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide care and support to a 69-year-old woman living in Cardiff. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, domestic chores, and personal care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with meal preparation and cooking
- Perform domestic chores, including cleaning and laundry
- Provide personal care, including bathing and dressing
- Assist with medication management and eye care
- Provide companionship and social interaction
- Assist with cat care and maintenance
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
- Compassionate and empathetic with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the individual
- Previous experience working with elderly or disabled individuals is an asset
The successful candidate will work an average of 18-20 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed. The role will involve working in a home environment, with occasional travel to medical appointments.
CompensationThe hourly rate for this position is £13.00, with the potential for a rate increase to £13.50 based on performance.
