In this role, you will be tasked with the operation of a 17m JCB to effectively lift, transport, and position substantial materials across various construction sites. Your meticulousness and adherence to safety standards will be vital in ensuring the smooth and secure handling of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Telehandler safely to lift and move materials as required on construction sites.
  • Follow all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the construction team to ensure the timely movement of materials in line with project specifications.
  • Conduct regular maintenance inspections on the Telehandler to guarantee its proper operation.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials from trucks or other vehicles using the Telehandler.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in operating a Telehandler or comparable heavy machinery.
  • Excellent driving capabilities with the skill to navigate the Telehandler in confined areas.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to address minor operational issues.
  • Familiarity with operating a 17m JCB.
  • A valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler certification and a full UK driving license are required.
