Job Title: Principal Complaints Officer

We are seeking a skilled Principal Complaints Officer to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and responding to complaints in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and respond to complaints from various sources, including the Chief Executive Stage, Local Government & Social Care Ombudsman, and Housing Ombudsman.
  • Provide one-stop resolution to customer complaints through effective identification of root causes and implementation of suitable remedies.
  • Monitor the quality of contacts received via various channels, including telephone, online, email, face-to-face, and letter, to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Assist in managing Stage 1 complaints across Financial Operations and Customer Services, providing professional advice and support to other council departments and partner organizations.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role, dealing with customer complaints in a public sector or government setting.
  • Understanding of Ombudsman framework and legislation.
  • Understanding of complaints management practice and procedures.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and KPIs with limited supervision.
